The goal of the project was to improve User Experience of complex, web-based application for biopharmaceutical research institution.
As a UX Designer I tried to walk on the users' shoes and discover what were their greatest challenges when dealing with the existing website, constantly scanning the site to call out areas that could be iterated to improve the experience.
Through my efforts I defined the Design Principles based on the business goals, user needs and pains; created functional and perceptual patterns, bringing the UI to life, improved the usability of the site.
